BME TMIT has produced a development environment for speech recognition running under Windows XP, which is suitable for learning and recognizing various texts of 1000-10.000 words (medium dictionary). For setting up recognition patterns, we used a corpus of medical results collected earlier from Clinic II of the Semmelweis University in Budapest (2700 gastroscopy and 2500 gastric ultrasound results) and from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Szeged (6365 results). The Clinic uses the application, but it is not commercially available.
